Greg Kunsman is the Co-Founder and CEO of NuWave Talent, a Recruiting and Executive Search firm dedicated to building high-impact teams at purpose-driven organizations and helping individuals find work that aligns with their deepest values. A proud member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, Greg is passionate about empowering others to live their truth, embrace their identity, and connect with their unique purpose.

After recognizing he was gay at an early age, Greg spent years navigating the pressure to conform to heteronormative expectations. As a young adult living a closeted life, he often felt disconnected from his authentic self. Through therapy and the mentorship of queer elders, a new path began to unfold—one that eventually led him to New York City and a life rooted in truth.

Coming out was just the beginning. This personal transformation sparked a deeper exploration into spirituality and waking consciousness. Greg began integrating practices like mindfulness, somatic work, and energy healing into his life—tools that have since become foundational to his leadership and the way he supports others. Today, he bridges heart-centered leadership with grounded spiritual insight, helping individuals access clarity, alignment, and a deep sense of belonging in both life and work.

More than anything, Greg is about connection—connection to self, to purpose, and to one another. He believes the future belongs to those who lead from the heart, and he’s honored to walk alongside others as they uncover what that truly means for them.

As Co-Founder and Head of People and Culture at NuWave Tasheyia Thomas-Gardon is a people-first leader, career strategist, and community builder with a passion for transforming lives through meaningful work and inclusive culture. Tash brings a unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience to her mission: to elevate underrepresented voices, expand access to opportunity, and drive lasting, human-centered change in the workplace and beyond. 

Tash immigrated to the U.S. as a child from a developing country, accompanied only by her sister and separated from her parents. She experienced firsthand the weight of uncertainty, the struggle for basic necessities, and the quiet strength it takes to persevere. Her early life was shaped by challenges many only read about—limited access to clean water, healthcare, and safety—but those challenges became the foundation of her calling. After more than a decade of navigating immigration hurdles, pursuing education, building a career, and reclaiming her well-being, Tash emerged not just with accomplishments, but with a deep sense of responsibility.

Throughout her career in talent acquisition, Tash has acted as more than a recruiter—she’s been a trusted career counselor, mentor, and advocate for hundreds of professionals navigating their own journeys. She believes that every candidate deserves not just opportunity, but clarity, confidence, and support. Her ability to connect with people on a deeply human level has helped countless individuals uncover their potential, overcome barriers, and pursue meaningful work. Tash has cultivated a thriving network of talent that looks to her for advocacy, guidance, and inspiration in their career path.
